Christmas 2018

Happy Holidays to you!  I hope this note finds you well this year….this year has felt like something out of a Lemony Snicket novel for me....a series of Fortunate and Unfortunate events (repeat as needed, lol!).  The first part of the year was busy working on music and some consulting projects when I had a serious fall at my health club (just walking and tripped, no kidding) and ended up breaking my left shoulder and arm in 4 places … so I ended up having to have surgery for that and about a 3 month recovery.  So with the help of family, I was able to move into a new ranch home about 25 miles away from where I had been living.

After a couple months of living here, I foolishly tried to go down into my basement to get some Christmas lights, and inadvertently fell off the bottom landing and onto my right arm this time…so after being in denial for a couple days, went and had it X-rayed and found out that I had a much smaller break (so that’s Fortunate!) but it’s another 3 weeks or so in a sling for the right arm.  So I think I’ve learned my lesson about really taking it carefully now and realizing my poor old body, after the years of RA and just aging, can’t take any more falls on concrete, lol!

Overall, though, my health is doing pretty well and I am very Fortunate for all the wonderful people in my life, my lovely new ranch home and the time to listen to music while I recoup again and think about my own music that I am just starting to  get back to now.

I wish you the happiest of holidays, and the best of health, wealth and happiness in 2019!

Peace, Love and Joy to you always,
Sharon
